Liber Genesis

This project begins by deconstructing the concepts of Matter and Immaterial. Deepening the concepts, I created connections between the materiality of artistic work, human ephemerality and what transcends us.
Exploring the concept of matter, which is ephemeral like Man, led me to question: why does an artistic work have to be immortalized when matter is ephemeral? Saying that matter is finite, I am reducing it to mere material itself. As she is the infinite creator of everything, once again the association of matter with Mother Earth is created, the one who creates, kills and is reborn in an infinite cycle. On the one hand, matter has an ephemeral character at the time of death, but immediately afterwards it is reborn as something else, infinitely in a cycle of death-birth.
Thus, matter also has a transcendent nature due to its infinite creative capacity, just as artistic work, although made of ephemeral materials, is also a response to something that transcends a mere justifying explanation by the artist, which is sometimes impossible to put into words.
The Liber Genesis project, or the same as creative freedom, is based on subverting matter by giving it new and infinite response potential. This led to a compulsiveness in doing things, exploring and subverting conventional techniques, materials and processes in the artistic sphere, whether in photography, drawing, painting and three-dimensional objects.
